You need to check your contract of employment, it should state if you have paid or unpaid sickness and holidays and if you don't have a contract then they don't need to pay you, you need to fill in a self certificate. |

He doesn't have to give you a paycheck if you don't work, but if he won't give you hours either, and you're in the states, apply for unemployment Insurance benefits. If you were not fired for performance, and you didn't quit, you're eligible for UI benefits. |
