Can an employer require you to pay back overpayment in commissions 4 mos after resigning?
My previous employer had sent me a letter stating I owe them for overpayment in commissions four months after resigning and if not paid they will send to collection agency and report to credit. After calling them on this, they said "we continue to charge back commissions for up to 60 days after employment". Can they really do this?
