Can I receive unemployment, if I was forced to quit?

Hey,
I have another question. A basic background of my workplace first. At my work place we have a point system for calling in, you can call in as long as you are underneath 10 points. So, when I came into work I felt sick and decided I couldn't make it through the day. I had not yet swiped in or anything I simply walked into the building. I called in at the office and I was told by the supervisor I could not since I was already here. Now, from my understanding it is recommended to call in an hour before your shift, but not required you can do so whenever you need as long as your under 10 points. I explained again I was sick and I could not work and again she said I had no choice I had to come in. I then quit over the phone, but against my will as I was prevented from calling in sick and could not work that day. Is it possible for me to collect unemployment? Also, is it legal for her to tell me I can't call in?
