Can I apply for Job Seekers Allowance whilst applying for Armed Forces?

I am intending to join the Armed Forces I have passed medical, psychometric, fitness tests and a formal interview. I have one final selection at the end of June, (more fitness). Therefore i don't believe i need to search for work, is it possible to still claim JSA and not be looking for other work outside the armed forces? ... I am currently spending the money on gym membership bus fares to and from career office and job centre, and some rent for my parents.

If you're going to sign on you'll still be expected to look for work until then i.e. a temporary job, or in case this one falls through. |
