Worried about nursing degree?

I am in school with intentions to become a nurse and eventually enter the college program. I am worried tho because it seems like so many people want to do it now and there are only a selected few who can enter the program. My grades are really good and all and the outlook for nursing is supposed to increase but i am just worried. am i just imagining things?

One good thing about nursing schools is there are quite a few of them with scholarships available. I suggest applying to more then one especially if your closest one is a community college with only a small limited amount of space. 4 year colleges are typically easier to get into for nursing. You can always do your prerequisites anywhere even if you don't get into the program at the school you're going to. Jobs are always readily available for nurses but where I am in the country (Philadelphia area) the jobs are tougher to come by right now. It will get better, I've been in health care for 10 years and have worked all over the country and most hospitals are begging for more nurses. |

You are going to notice your classmates will go from 40 to 25, it's a really challenging program/ path to go for. Good grades are easy to get at the beginning, if you don't get into it and keep working hard, it's unlikely that it will work. |
