Will I be able to specialize in working in pediatrics or working in a delivery room as a surgical tech? I want to work with kids/babies/in the delivery room. Is this a possible job?

I believe that one you get your certification as a Surgical Tech, you can then apply to jobs in the obstetric field. Being a surgical tech for pediatrics I would assume works the same way, you'd just look for work at a children's hospital for trauma. Becoming a surgical tech isn't really an issue, you just have to make sure that your resume is launched where HR in these specialties are looking for surgical technicians Good luck! |
