Which employer pays more: hospital, clinic or private practice?
I am in school to become an RN but after i graduate i would like to do an internship to become a Pediatric Nurse so i would like to know which one of the above places would pay me more, give me more hours, which would offer better benefits such as more sick leave & paid vacation time, and also which one would offer a more flexible schedule.
thank you.
:)

I would say hospital, clinic, and private practice. Their business are also in that order. However, this order may change if the hospital is a major one in a big city, if the clinic is like, the main one in the area, or if the private practice is very successful. If you are just starting off, obtaining a job at a hospital would be more stable. You can start off there if you make it there. When given the chance, definetely hospital. |
