What is a physician and a psychiatrist?

A physician is a doctor, but for what? ( foot, general, heart, bone etc?)
and a psychiatrist is a doctor (therapist sorta?) that can prescribe pills to patients?
im so lost, please help!

Physicians are medical doctors and they can specialize in orthopedics, cardiology, endocrinology, dermatology, ear nose and throat, internal medicine, oncology, surgery etc. |
