What incentives does the health care reform have for prospective medical students?

Everyone has been focusing on what the "people" want, but how about doctors and medical students? I have heard that there will be a shortage of doctors within the next 10-15 years. Obviously, it would be unwise to have the health reform affect medical schools and doctors negatively, otherwise, how would students want to even want to become doctors in the first place?
There has to be some kind of incentive to entice prospective medical students into applying and going through medical school.
