What could i advance after getting my medical assistant degree?

Ok, so heres the deal, im going to start college to get my medical assisting degree thing, Later i want to step to the next level something a lilttle higher what should i try to pursue?

Well, if you already have an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting, you could apply some of those credits towards about any Bachelor Degree. There is no B.A. or B.S for Medical Assisting...that's as high as that goes.

I teach medical front office and billing and coding.

Usually medical assistants focus either on front office or back office. If your focus is front office you can advance to studying billing and coding, medical office management, health information technology, health administration, etc.

If you are focused on back office you can advance to an LVN or RN. Some employers offer bridge programs and sometimes they will pay for your training as long as you agree to work for them for a few years.
