What associates (A.A.) degree should I complete pre-LVN to RN?

Hello, I am in the process of joining the Army Reserve/ National Guard to perform the LVN program they offer. In order to gain rank in the military and hopefully improve my chances of getting hired as an RN in the future I was wondering which A.A. degree I should complete just to cushion myself.

Should I get an A.A. in Health Sciences or Psychology? Which one would an employer like to see more as a step above the rest?

My plan is to complete the Army LVN program then continue to an LVN-RN bridge program. From there I would like to complete my BSN.

Since I more or less need to complete my A.A. for military ranking I just would like to know which A.A. (Health Sciences or Psychology) would help me more in my future when I apply for a job as a nurse and even when I apply for the BSN program at Universities?

I live in the California area and will be stationed Army reserve in the California area as well if this helps,

I would take a look at what prerequisites are required for LVN, RN, and BSN programs you are interested in. I would try to knock out as many prereqs as possible and pick a degree that would encompass said prereqs.

I would think the AA in health sciences is going to be more beneficial than the psychology.
