Want to be Physician's Assistant?
Here is the thing. I always had a passion to have a career in the medical field, specifically to be a doctor or a PA. Currently i am 30 years old, have a bachelors degree in communications and i am two courses away from receiving my masters degree in marketing communications. It seems that whenever i am at a hospital or at doctors office, my old thoughts about becoming a medical professional comes out again and i get this weird, but good feeling that i can't explain. When i started college i didn't know what the heck i was doing, i just wanted to get through with school and have a job. Idea of College Chemistry and Biology scared me, and since i did not had enough Math background that even kept me far away from pursuing my medical dream. My first job ever was working at a medical facility, interacting with patients and doctors and i did that for about 7 years and i loved every minute of it. Currently, i really don't have the passion in what i am doing in communications marketing - i basically chose to go with that route because it did not require sciences and math background. Lately i am seriously thinking about enrolling in a PA program and the course load doesn't seem to be all that scary. It seems now my mind is much relaxed and set than it was when i first started college. At 30 i am thinking if i am too old for a career change and more importantly if i could deal with my daemons in math and biology. Last time i took a biology course was in high school. Has anyone any experience in career change, preferably in the medical field that can give me some advice?

You can't just enroll in a PA program. You have to apply and it is VERY competitive. You need to research the programs you are interested in and make sure you meet all the requirements. Make sure you have the classes that they require, and any amount of health care experience that they require. I Suggest you get certified as an EMT or CNA if you are serious about this and start getting health care experience.
