Tips on figuring my nursing pay band in the UK?

Category: Health Care

PancakePancake

I'm gathering information as I plan on moving to the UK in the next few years. I'm currently residing in the United States, and my career is as a registered nurse. I know the Agenda for Change created a new pay band system, but I can't find good information on which pay band I would be in when I move over and begin working. Is there any way to find that out?

Also if you'd throw in specific tips on getting credited in the UK [as in transferring my nursing license here to the UK so that I am able to work] that would be fantastic.

Thanks for the help.

Attached link has info on pay bands, the RCN site should also give info on becoming accredited, very best on the move, you may want to look into becoming an agency nurse as it pays more.
