I'm 15 going on 16

I want to be a pediatrician in the future

So I want to experience the hospital environment

I'm not sure what kind of hospital related jobs can apply to me

Please help!

You're too young to get any actual medical, patient-contact jobs. And in this economy you will have a hard time even getting a job in housekeeping or cafeteria.

Your best bet at this point is volunteering - that will get you in the door. From there you can see what opportunities come up to volunteer in various departments. You can check the jobs posting board for possible employment. In fact, you can find the job-posting boards at all the local hospitals and check them out regularly - they are always located in a public place, usually near the cafeteria. Ask at the front desk - if the person there doesn't know they can find someone to help you. Many hospitals post jobs on-line, but by the time they get posted they're already filled.

FYI - start taking classes in chemistry, biology, math, and anatomy. And start finding people who will recommend you to a medical college - it's as much who you know as what you know.

And do your future co-workers a favor: don't become an egotistical, childish jerk when you become a doctor. Social skills are neglected in the insular environment of med school - don't become that person.
