Which job is in more demand these days?

Nursing is in higher demand. There are so many options in nursing not just Staff/ Floor RN. You can become a Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Anesthesist, Charge Nurse and even teaching. The scope is large in that field. With a Dental Hygienist, you could eventually become a Dentist but that is all the advancement you would get. I would suggest Nursing.

If you decide to go into Nursing, dont go into the field because of the pay, go into it because you like to help people. The pay is good however, you may get burned out. I have heard too many people go into this field because of the pay, yet after being in it start becoming aggressive and angry with their job. My grandmother has been a Nurse for 40 years and has done every scope and is now an instructor.

I would think nursing has a higher demand. Not everyone sees taking care of their teeth as essential. I know so many that go without a dentist. Their always going to be sick people. I would think nursng more in demand but that's just my opinion.
