RN Nursing school options with small kids?
I am a stay at home mom of 16 month-old and I am planning on having another child next year. In the meantime, I'd like to start nursing school to become an RN. Starting this fall, I am planning on taking prerequisites one at a time in the evenings (I only have a total of 4 pre-req classes I need because I already have a Bachelors from about 10 years ago). After that, there are 10 nursing classes (includes clinicals) that I would need to finish to get an Associates in Nursing. The school I plan on attending allows students to do their work part time. My question is, should I go to school little by little while my kid(s) are very young, then taking more classes once they start going to preschool/school. Or should I try to juggle my family life and get my schooling out of the way as quick as possible? I'd love to be able to take my time and really learn as much as I can without having to struggle, but my husband and I would love to buy a bigger home for our kids, but going little by little would force us to stay in a very small home for a lot longer. Any advice?

Honestly, I would tell you not to have another kid until you're done with nursing school. |

I went to nursing school with a 15 month old, it was hard, my husband helped me out alot with the house duties, If I were you I would wait on having another child. nursing school is very intense and its a full time job alone. |
