I would suggest you consider seeing a chiropractor. Neck and spine problems, like with whiplash, can cause headaches. The problem is some chiropractors are really good and others aren't. In fact, I've seen a couple of times where one was really good and another not worth a darn, both working out of the same office. My wife found that out with the one I use now and the other that works with her out of her office.

If the one you see is good, you'll know it usually even before walking out of the office because you'll already notice an improvement. Other times, depending on the problem, it may take a bit longer and more visits.

I introduced my wife and son to chiropractors and both now use mine when back and neck problems arise. My daughter-in-law is now a convert also. She uses mine now too with consistently good results. My sister traveled for many years from Maryland to New York whenever she had problems because the one we used there in New York when we were growing up was very good. She would refuse to see his son because she said he wasn't good. They both worked out of the same office.

Sorry, I can't give you advice on how to find a good one other than from possibly referrals or just going in and trying one. Just make sure that if/when they take x-rays, that you can get the x-rays to take with you if you decide to switch chiropractors. Getting more x-rays than necessary is always a no-no for me. I have to refuse them often when my dentist wants to get new ones of my teeth every year.

Chiropractors usually aren't covered by insurance but if they're good, they're worth every penny. And the ones I've been to over the years have never been as expensive a regular doctors.
