Is there a lot of Per Diem work in sonography?

I am thinking about sonography as a career but, I really want to work on more of a Per Diem basis. How do career prospects look into the future?

Some Sonographers work "PRN", or on an as needed basis. They may fill in for people who are out, or on days when there seems to be a larger work load, but not enough to hire another full-time person. That's the only thing I can think of that's close to what you are looking for. |
