Is it better for me to get my nurse degree at a community college or to get my B.S. in nursing?

It honestly doesn't matter whether you get a 2 year or a 4 year. If you go to community college, you can get your 2 year degree, start in the field, then you can bridge RN to BSN and you can do online classes for that. The difference between AS and BSN is AS is more clinical and BSN teaches you more theory. BOTH AS and BSN take the same NCLEX-RN exam. Both make the same amount. The only difference is with the BSN it helps you get into management. |

You can never go wrong with a proper 4 years Bachelor's degree- especially in Nursing. PLUS, a 4-year degree from a well-known university ALWAYS has more value & advantages than a community college. Another medical field you cold always check out if Pharmacy. Arizona Western is a good school too. |
