It has been a month and a half. Why is it taking so long to be approved for the position?

During this 1.5 months, I hope you were looking for other opportunities.

It sounds to me like:

option 1) he doesn't want you

option 2) he doesn't care if the position is filled or not

option 3) it's not a priority to him

Remember, recruitment is a 2 way evaluation. You get to evaluate the company while they are evaluating you. Is this a company that you want to work for?
