I have applied for a few jobs which I most definitely was qualified for,but did not get a job offer?

And still I look at the internet for jobs and see the same jobs still being posted. Do you think I would have a chance of getting the job if I called the mgr and told him I am still interested in the job? What type of approach do you think I should use? I need some solid advice, please.

How did you apply? What approach did you use initially? And what sort of job was it? It hard to give solid advice without those two bits of information.

If you do decide to call, I would just ask to speak with the manager and inquire as to whether he had the chance to look over your application, and if so, does he have any questions or comments. Be very polite. He probably gets lots of inquiries, and has no patience for rude or sloppy applicants.
