Does anyone have a job as a Dental Hygienist or in the Dental Field?

I am starting college in June and looking into careers.
Is there anyone out there in the dental Field that could tell me something you find interesting about it? How are your medical benefits?
I worry about my teeth a lot too and think it would be a good way to get better dental care when I'm older and need fillings and caps replaced.

Dental Hygiene is a great career, unfortunately the market is just down for them right now. Under normal circumstances, it is a stable and flexible job with great pay. If you are just starting college and wouldn't be graduating for a few years, the market may be different by the time you would be looking for a job. |
