LPNs/LVNs make $40,000 on average.

Also you can bridge to RN after you become an LPN/LVN. If you go straight from RN, it will be at least two years before you are working as a nurse. LPN/LVN programs are 12-18 months.

Best of luck.

You need to find out if your community college offers a ADN program. Basically a RN with a associates degree. I know once you pass all of the classes and pass boards, you will be making 25.00 per hour as a RN. I would recommend doing this first, then going on and getting your bachelors in nursing (most hospitals pay for it).

As an LPN that is average for their salary.

Depends on which type of Nurse, CRNA(Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) is REALLY good money.

They make a decent salary...The amount depends on where you work and in which state.

I usually quote hourly wages because most nurses do not work full-time. So you can do the math to figure out annual salary based on several scenarios.

LPNs will make around $17-20 per hour, and will top out not far from that.

RNs start at anywhere from $25-35 (depending on shift, facility, area of country) and could make as much as $45-50 per hour once you get several years of experience or become a charge nurse. You can do this with an ADN. BSN RNs usually don't make much more over ADNs in a direct patient care job. My hospital only pays BSNs $1 more per hour. The money advantage to BSNs comes if you use your degree in another role like management / administration. You can always get the ADN first, get a job, and many employers offer tuition assistance to complete a BSN later, and BSN completion programs are largely offered online for flexibility. That's what I did.
