Yuriy,

Your profile shows you are in Russia.

Your question came in on the United States Yahoo Answers. I'm sure you are quite intelligent, but your question seems to be "lost in translation"....especially since your alphabet and your keyboard have Cyrillic letters. Your best option is to inquire locally in Moscow about educational choices available to you!

Best Wishes!

No. Medical school has nothing to do with nursing. Becoming a doctor takes at least 10 years. And you need to know how to spell which you clearly don't.

A nursing degree does not automatically make you able to become a doctor. What a nurse knows and what a doctor knows differ vastly.

You need a bachelor's degree to become a certified doctor. To become a doctor, you need to graduate from a 4-year college/university.

That graduation needs to include:

2 year of freshman chemistry with laboratory courses.

1 year of organic chemistry with laboratory courses.

1 year of biology with laboratory courses.

1 year of physics with laboratory courses.

1 year of English.

1 year of calculus

You then take the MCAT.

Then you enter Medical School and bust your butt to get that 4.0 so that you can get your MD.

Also, an associate's degree requires a minimum of two English classes so you might want to brush up on your English.

"Can I be a doctor with my associate's degree in nursing. It took a really long time.

I went to a community college and I want to be a doctor. I do not have my associate's degree in nursing but I am currently attempting it. So, I have no college degree. Can I be a doctor now with my experience?"

To be a docta, u need to go to a 4yr. univ. and then go Medical School which takes abt another 4yrs. so it's a long process. Sorry, but u have a long way to go. AN associates can't really help in becoming a doc.

Over 90% of med school applications are rejected. Even you have the prerequisites for med school, you will need a cumulative college GPA of over 3.5 (preferably 3.8+) and a MCAT score in the 30's to be competitive and even if you have all that stuff it is still a gamble. If you have been a nurse for a while and was a GREAT college student then you might, just might have a shot at it. Either way, good luck to ya.
