Are you a good student? Be organized, don't procrastinate, you can do it if you like science that helps too...stick in there and go for it, don't do it in your last semester...you'll have senioritis by then and kick yourself for not getting it overwith...all said, I am assuming your a good student

Micro takes a great deal of time commitment. Is there anyway that you can take it before you actually start clinicals and your nursing core? If not the earlier courses in nursing are going to be easier than the later ones because each builds on the information taught before.

If you make the commitment to do the work and sort of put the rest of your life on hold for awhile you can do it. You are going to spend extreme amounts of time in the books and studying but in the end it is going to be worth it. Just remember it will not be forever and you can do it. Get a support system around you and some study friends and make up your mind that you can get through this.

My daughter had to go through the same thing and she has a child to raise. She certainly was grumpy and felt like she had not slept in months, but she made it and you can too. Good luck.

Well I'm a BSN student and I took Micro before entering my program it it wasn't the end of the world. I also had a really great professor and I studied so I did fine. I wouldn't wait to take it just in case you don't do well at least you still have time to take it again. You really just have to be dedicated and STUDY!!!! Don't wait until the last minute to study or it will sneak up on you and I promise you'll be LOST! Everyday go over the material and if you're a visual learner use note cards or a dry erase board and STUDY in advance! I know you have to study for other classes but you're not expected to have a life in nursing school anyway!
