Auxiliary Nurse, do l need to register for an nmc pin .nr to work in the nursing homes?

Hej, guys ,l need some help here. L live in sweden and am planning to move to uk this year. l work as a care taker, ***, nurse. Do l have to register for an nmc.pin. nr to work in uk in the nursing homes.

Auxillary nurses and carers are not qualified nurses, therefore they do not register with the NMC. |

No you don't only if you are a registered nurse, you just need to apply to the job, experience helps, anyone can do it from high school. No certificates on the job training. |

The Care Commission in the UK now requests that all care assistants have the NVQ Level 1 in health & Social Care and progress to level 3 and just now with 3 million people unemployed in the UK nursing homes have a high number of applicants and in most cases they are taking staff with the highest qualifications which in some cases are degrees. - My daughter is a senior carer in a nursing home and several of her friends who have the qualifications are finding it very hard to get employment in the homes. |
