Struggeling with metlife. can anyone offer help.?

Ok so I work for a company who uses MetLife as their disability people. I sent them the records of my psychological history of bi polar and self mutilatory disorder. But they want information that doesn't exist. I have been out of work since august 2012. It seems they don't understand the severity of my depression. It seems to me that in order for them to approve my leave of absence I have to actually attempt something drastic. I really just want tthis to run smoother because my job isbholding my pay....alot of it....

Have you been to a doctor?

Are you on strong medication?

If that does not work, then the doctor may write the letter (putting his job on the line) that you are not capable of working.
