Off course they should make it public but they are not in the compulsion to publish their balance sheet in dailies. They ll publish somewhere else.

NPOs submit their financials to the governing authorities of the place where they are a registered. NPOs get tax concessions so they also have to submit their records to tax authorities. Only public listed NPOs need not make their record public unless they are listed on bourses. Although there is no one stopping them to make it public. Hope it answers your question. Good day!
