I would prefer nothing in the construction fields, I'm already there and I need a change of career because I cant physically handle the job any more due to my condition of lupus. Any night jobs or day jobs will due I just need to make around that much to pay for my truck and rent. I will go back to school in the mean time to learn a new career.

A GS-4 clerk makes the equivalent of about $13 an hour and requires only one year of general experience, which is any work experience. If you are "already there" in the construction field, then you don't have "no experience" but rather experience that may not apply directly to the type of job for which you are searching.

Go to www.usajobs.gov and search for "clerk". You can refine it further to GS-4. I'm assuming you don't have a bachelor's degree, which you would need for GS-5, or any military experience, which would help your ranking, but you still have a shot at being hired, depending on how many vacancies there are and how many vets apply.

With no education and no experience, there is no REASON for someone to pay you that much money. You have no skills or training to demand that kind of money. Why would someone pay you $12 an hour with no experience when they can hire some 18 year old kid at minimum wage and this kid has the same work experience as you???

NO!!!! I have been in admin/clerk field for 5 years and I dont win $15 an hour...in this time of recession..no one wants to pay this with no experience..and if you want to win that that i suggest you volunteer for 5 years and see if you can get paid the amount you want....
