Was I too needy for the job?
I recently applied for a job and spoke with the woman in charge of hiring the same day that my resume was faxed. I called two days later to make sure that it was received by them. She said that it was passed along... I have heard nothing from them so I sent a letter thanking them for looking at my resume a week later. In my letter I stated that I will call them at the end of the week to follow up... Too needy?

Not really. It's ok to follow up at the end of the week. But don't follow up again after because that will make you look desperate. If you're qualified, they'll call you. |
