New job interview.......?

Fast Food place 1 I worked at for a month it was very bad i missed work on several occasions ( 3 no shows and a suspension because I was new and misread the schedule) Was short on my drawer and called in a twice and quit the last min before my shift. I felt that the whole thing was a mistake and I could not redeem myself. I hated the people I worked with and I hated the job so I quit after just one month.
I have an interview for a similar position but this time I will learn to do the best I can and avoid any mistakes.
What should I say if they ask about fast food place 1 and why I worked there only a month. What is fast food place 1 allowed to say if the interview calls?

Your first job can tell your second job anything they feel they need to - but employers usually don't call the previous workplaces unless they think they need to after they meet you. If I were you I'd just be upfront about it in the beginning of the interview - explain that it was a bad time in your life or watever and you plan to give 200% if you get this job. They'll most likely see that you made a mistake and hire you for our other qualities. |
