I am a 13 year old boy in need of a summer job. I can do alot of things and have a great attitude. PLZ PLZ help me. No stupid jobs like lemonaid stands and stuff a 6 year old would do.

In my experience, it's pretty much impossible to get a decent job until you're at least 15.

But until then, volunteer at some places. Volunteering gives you more experience in working with people and helps you develop a wider range of skills and knowledge.

When you're older and you do apply for a job, make sure to include your volunteering experiences on your resume because then you're chance of being hired will be much greater.

I know you want to earn some money though but it won't come easily unless you offer to mow your neighbor's lawns or walk their dogs.

You can volunteer at many places: some libraries, theaters, theme parks, nursing homes, soup kitchens, day camps for kids, and lots of others.

Just think of a place you'd like to volunteer at and look up their website and find the volunteering section.

Sorry, I know that you weren't looking for this kind of answer but that's the best I can offer.

Good luck =]

Harvest seeds for plants. Choose seeds that are close to where you live. Grow plants, grow fruit trees, vegies, trees, bushes, flowers. Then turn around and sell them.

Growing plants is one of the easiest and affordable ways to START a business. Be consistant and study some. You'll do just fine. If not its always a Lazy side job you can do. Dirt is everywhere, soil is cheap, use your imagination where you get free plastic containers (milk cartons, pepsi bottles)

good luck.

no matter how old you are, always save %10 of what you make. thats if your serious.

You need to include your state because laws change from state to state. Potential jobs could be:

Camp Counselor (or Counselor in Training)

Work for a family business

Start a small business like:

getting groceries for the elderly

lawn care

house/pet sitting

outside of these there are not many jobs a 13 year old can do. I know that in new york the legal working age is 14 and even then its hard to get jobs.
