Yeah, just gotta understand one might get the job while the other one doesn't. They're not going to hire you together for sure! They might, I did the same thing and we both got hired on. Then she ended up quitting and I kept getting her hired back on. It's fun, but you're there to do a job and that's what is important, not hanging out. Believe me you need independence in life.

They wont hire both of you at the same time because they think you'll just full around so I would'nt recomend it.And if you really want the job and she has a better resume they will most likely hire her.

never go in with anyone else, if you want to drive together that is fine but go in one at a time, and do NOT mention the other person.

if just one opening is available you risk losing it,

you look immature and unable to stand on your own........

managers may not even consider you if they know there is just one position available, and it looks to them like the two of you come as a package deal......

by bringing a friend it seems you are a bit to casual and sociable for many jobs,,,,

you imply that your friend being with you is more important then work, and you may have a problem telling your friends to stay away when you are suppose to be working........

none of these reasons may be true or apply to you,

but WHY take the risk?

you get one chance to make a great first impression so don't SCREW it up.

when you go to pick up an application you need to assume you will be interviewed on the spot, you must plan accordingly, go dressed appropriately, have a list of references that is current & accurate, bring pad & pen, etcetera...
