Will you be inclined to tip more than you normally would? I've noticed when I pull the a.s.s.h.o.l.e bit when I'm waiting tables that I get better tips than when I am obsequiously nice. This assuming of course that everything goes perfect which it usually does but not every time.

Personally, I like a server that i can bust balls with and have a laugh with, i.e he can take my bs and dish it right back out. As long as both parties know there's no malice involved, I don't see any harm in it.
