LOL i had an interview two days ago here are the types of questions...

Are you still in school?

did you graduate?

how many hours are you looking to make?

have you had a previous job?

why did you quit?

don't ask anything you will seem to dominating they wont like it.

where something casual not too fancy but not too casual.

btw, McDonald's or ANY fast food restaurant will not hire you unless you are 16 and up its against the law.

There are plenty of potential hurdles for children in work, many of them law-related, parents want to be vigilant about that. There is plenty of help from the website in the box below on this issue, they also have help for all peeps who are looking for work, or who want to change careers.

At your age, jeans and nice shoes and top are fine. Clean hair and hands. Not much make up. Speak politely and clearly. Ask about hours, schedules, who owns the store, if you'll work for multiple managers, etc. Be on time!

I work at McDonals in Canada, I dont know if you are in Canada or if you are somewhere else, but I will let you know what happens. The first interview is basically to get to know you as a person. Really play up your extra curriclulars, any volunteer experience, hobbies, and definitley your grades, this will let them know you are a hardworker. Bring a copy of your resume with you and if you do have, bring a sheet of paper with your references on it. The outfit you had picked out sounds good. Bring a pen, I had to fill out a survey. Its just to see if you are a good fit with the company, like it asks about teamwork and stuff like that. Just act really natural and have a postitive attitude.

Questions to ask: What kinds of tasks will I get to do? Do I get to choose what I get trained on? What are the shifts like, how long, how many a week?
