Yes you can, i worked at chick fil for a year and a half. While I didnt start working there at 14, I had coworkers that did. There were restrictions like you couldnt work past 9 on school nights and i think a limit on hours allowed. But apply, its great experience and reference.

This is usually true, but laws many vary depending on your city and state, so go talk to the people at Chick Fil A.

Normally there you would be making food, preparing orders, or cashiering, and of course cleaning, lots and lots of cleaning.

Most places, legally yes you can. The manager might prefer to hire someone older though, since at 14 the hours you can work are very restricted.
