How much do assistant managers make at Ruby Tuesday?

Alexander Cottingham

I was recently a GM with Ruby Tuesday and left the company to go to a Brinker company. Management with Ruby Tuesday is paid on a lower end of the spectrum in comparison to other restaurant concepts. That being said, typically a fresh internal hire that was promoted from cook/server to be a manager will get $36,000 a year. An external hire that is from another concept with restaurant management experience could expect more. I've known Ruby Tuesday to hire GM-capable managers at $55,000 a year but it's not the norm.

Probably less than the servers (including tips), but it does add management experience to your resume.
