Help! My first job interview. do you think it went well?
So i went to my first interview and the manger was a young laid back. First she looked at my application notice i had no preference experience and then ask me about school! Then she told me the job details and what we do here. (she seemed pretty laid back) then she asked if i had any question then i told her i had experience with what they were selling. and i had a pretty open schedule and my school doesnt start for a couple of weeks then she goes. "oh thats great you could come in the morning so i could train you". then at the end she told me they were gunna interview more people and if your hired we will get back to you in a week. its only been todays so idk! also the job post isnt on the internet anymore!!!

First of all, congratulations on getting the job interview! It sounds like it went very well, and the interviewer sounded very kind. If the manager believes that your skills and qualifications will add to her business, then you will definitely receive a call back. As for how long it will take for her to get back to you, it depends on how many people she will be interviewing and who she has to choose between. I would send her a thank you letter tomorrow thanking her for her time during the interview and restating your desire for the position. If she comes to a point where she has to choose between you and another person, the thank you letter will definitely point the finger in your direction, per se. |

Sounds like you did pretty well. Having an open schedule will always put you far on the top of the list for minimum wage jobs. Yes, they like experience, but availability is much more important. If she doesn't call you back in a weeks time, call and see what the update is on their hiring process. |
