So i want to become a chef. nd i found a school that im interested in attending. ( http://www.professionalculinaryinstitute¦ ) my dad says i have to go to a 4 year college. But it seems like i would get a lot of education at this cooking school. Maybe i can do both college nd cooking school at the same time? i just really dont wanna wait 4 years then begin cooking school. suggestions?

The school is $23,000 for 9 months or $43,000 for 18 months. You graduate either way with a certificate. Then you join the thousands of others who are great cooks but are lucky to find work in a steak house.

Go to college as long as you can stand it. Get "The Joy Of Cooking" and cook every recipe in it for friends and family. If you have talent, you will find a rewarding career in the world of restaurants, resorts, and hotels.
