I've been applying for jobs for 11 months now. I've had 4 interviews but no job yet. How can someone my age get hired? I have a recent business administration degree and good accounting skills.

Please don't think it's your age. It's not. I have 2 friends who have been out of work for a year now. One is 35 and an electrician, the other has management experience and can't even get a job as a counter person. It's the economy.

If you really "have a recent business administration degree and good accounting skills" then why on Earth would you have not started you OWN business after being unable to find a position for, say, two weeks?

If you have valuable business & interpersonal skills, use them on YOURSELF, if you do not, that might explain you not getting hired!

I don't mean to sound mean, but wake up & smell the cat-food!

Dont put you age on the CV - that way you may get to the interview stage

if you look young for your age you could maybe knock off a few years if they ask you ?
