Im 16, live in the UK and im applying online for a full time job at McDonald's.

It says I need two references, one personal and one academic/business. I have never had a job before.

I left school nearly a year ago and dropped out of college in december after only being there for 3 months. So what should i put for my academic reference. Do i need to put a teacher from school, or college or what?

And also the personal Reference? What do i put for that? A parent or a friend or something?

For personal reference put someone that you know will give you a good name. I'd try finding a friend or someone that is going to college or has a degree as they will probably ask them what they do day to day and will value their opinion of yourself since they have also taken a career path.

As for the Academic give them your high schools phone number with the Principal's name. You can just google it for the address and number and then enter his name. They want to make sure you didn't miss too many days in school and that you had good grades, which would mean you will show up on time and that your work will be greatly appreciated and helpful.
