Should I bring a cover letter to an interview?

I have an interview at a bank for a position as a teller, it is a group interview, and they asked for a copy of my resume, should i bring a cover letter too to distinguish myself even though they didn't ask for one?

YES!!!! Also even if they don't need it better be safe than sorry and it will make you look good and organized and show that you are determined to get the job

Yes! the more professional you appear the more they will like you. your resume and how its prepared will say alot about you.

Have you already sent them a copy of your resume and cover letter to get the job interview?

If you have already sent it, then don't bring it with you. If this is the first exposure they have to your resume, then you COULD bring the cover letter with. Otherwise, the reason they're asking you to bring an extra copy of your resume they have already seen is so that they can make notes on it during your interview.

A cover letter is a way of introducing yourself and you do these when you're mailing off a resume, not when you're going in for an interview. When you're in an interview you're there to introduce yourself and tell them face to face why you would be good for the job, why make them read it when you're there to tell them?
