For a Friend: One of my friend wants to ask this: she is the junior most in her department and all the seniors make her do all the odd jobs, if she refuses they critizise her and tell her that she has an attitude problem......they constantly demand her to wish them address them with Sir and Mam and keep showing her that she is of a lower grade and level then they are.........she is constantly being scolded.......what should she do?

There is a popular saying that "People don't quit companies, they quit bosses".

Your friend's case is a fine example of this sort.

A simple question to all those who find trouble like this in their organisation and looking for a job change:

What happens if the situation in the new entity is more worse than the current one?

Hence, instead of worrying about the problem and looking for a change, it would be better to find a solution to set this right. She needs to learn the tactics of handling people who drives her.

At the same time, she needs to correct her in case the demand is genuine. Admitting the reality is one big advantage to correct ourself.

Regards

Bala

Do not tolerate this, first make a complaint against them to your Manager or other senior person, if they are not taking action then complaint in police station. They will help you and one most important for India leave this job and catch another one ASAP.

There is a explanation for this. If people are demanding respect for apparently no real reason then it must be to hide their own deficencies.
