Executive Support Questions (office work)?

Category: Administrative & Office Support

I want to know if I can say that I've done executive support. What exactly would qualify? Obviously, working for an executive...but I've worked under physicians at a health care clinic. Does that qualify?

So basically, can anyone tell me what I'd have to do to be able to list on my resume 'Executive Support'...

Tough question without looking like you are stretching the truth to a prospective employer. Here are a couple thoughts. Was the physician the business owner that you supported? What type of support did you provide? How does this directly relate to the traditional Executive Support position you may be seeking? So if the physician was the business owner you can easily state you supported the owner/president. You will then need to explain the specific type of support you provided. This will provide you a path into discussing how you will fit the position you are applying for. I hope this helps and wish you all the best in getting the job. Good luck

Just from the information provided...I would say that you have not worked in an executive level support position.
