Technical Product Specialist

TiVo's Production group produces some of the most innovative and compelling interactive media experiences available in the emerging DVR space.
We are looking for a Technical Product Specialist to join our team and help manage our current production processes, as well as define and implement cross-functional improvements for production tools, infrastructure and processes for new partners, platforms and features.
RESPONSIBILITIES * External HME application development support - Work with Client Services and Sales teams to scope and define product offerings - Work with clients and vendors to investigate and support their HME application objectives - Create and manage development schedules to provide clients with milestones to support their media plans * Internal cross-functional Program Management for the development, qualification and launch of HME applications on the TiVo service including: - UI review - Code review - Certification - Beta testing * Communicate deadlines, deliverables and processes for execution of campaigns and secure transfer of deliverables * Learn and help evolve TiVo's SDK for HME app development * Drive development of HME functionality to support core business goals through future applications * Coordinate and complete NDAs with clients and third-party vendors for the execution of campaign data fulfillment * Coordinate campaign status with Client Services Account Managers * Learn and defend TiVo's network security policies and personal data privacy policies * Coordinate secure data transfer of campaign fulfillment data within the guidelines of TiVo's Privacy & Security policies and best practices * Spec and develop web tools for the request and fulfillment of Lead Generation data formatting Experience - External: * Superior verbal and written communications skills * 2+ years experience writing PL/SQL procedures and developing SQL reports * 2+ years Java application development * Must be familiar with Unix Shell Scripting * Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment.
* Minimum 5 years IT experience * Excellent leadership skills in a fast paced environment * Proven ability to manage clients and vendors * Prior Program Management experience * Must be able to identify, manage, and track project dependencies and milestones * Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills * Must be able to gather and document user and technical requirements for the development of reports which satisfy the requirements while maintaining data integrity and security * Highly organized, responsible and deadline-driven * Comfortable multi-tasking * Enjoy working in a collaborative environment * Positive, solution-oriented outlook Bachelors degree in CS, IS or similar Experience with Firmware and Software development Experience with PHP and Perl scripting languages
