Senior Teller
Senior Teller Affinity Bank is an established financial institution with headquarters in Ventura, CA and offices strategically placed within the Western US. In addition to our retail banking, we specialize in wholesale income property loans.
We continue to experience tremendous growth opportunities through sound business investments and acquisitions.
Because of our growth, we have a new position which will be located in our San Mateo branch.
Purpose: Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Branch Manager/Operations Manager, performs a variety of duties as listed.
Is capable of performing other duties as time permits.
May be assigned special assignments and projects.
Major Job Duties: Provide exceptional customer service.
Accepts retail and commercial checking and saving deposits.
Disburses funds through checking and saving withdrawals or cashing checks.
Issue negotiable instruments.
Prepare and send wire transfers.
Daily balancing of cash drawer.
Ability to discuss and refer bank products.
Assist with ATM balancing.
Complete monthly compliance training.
Prepare daily work for nightly processing.
Miscellaneous filing.
Participate in community activities as approved.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience: Calculator.
PC proficient, knowledge of Word and Excel.
Knowledge of bank operations and regulations.
One year of cash handling preferred.
