SI Service Support Specialist
Description: Schwab Institutional, a division of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. is the leading provider of custody, trading, technology and practice management to registered independent advisory firms.
It provides access to sophisticated wealth-management services that help advisors attract and retain affluent clients, as well as profitably grow, compete and succeed in their business efforts.
Group Overview: SI Prime Broker Trade Away Services allows Investment Advisors to execute trade(s) at other broker/dealers for their clients' accounts that are custodied at Schwab.
Responsibilities: The SI Service Support Specialist will provide settlement services to Investment Managers maintaining multiple trading relationships for client accounts custodied at Schwab.
He/She will resolve trade settlement issues with Investment Managers and other brokerage firms, ensure compliance of SEC regulations, ensure proper documentation for client accounts and clearing broker/dealer firms, and work with Broker Operations, Service Teams, Trading Desks, SI Marketing, and Sales to provide high quality services.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position should have 2 to 3 years industry experience; Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred; MS Excel and MS Word skills a plus; Knowledge of settlement operations in the brokerage industry; Good working knowledge of Schwab Legacy systems; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task are critical.
Works well in a collaborative team environment.
Series 7/63 preferred.
