The BLOOMBERG TERMINAL and Bloomberg's media services provide real-time and archived financial and market data, pricing, trading, news and communications tools in a single, integrated package to corporations, news organizations, financial and legal professionals and individuals around the world.
DESCRIPTION: Your career with Bloomberg begins in Global Customer Support, which is the starting point for your path towards a sales position in the company.
Beginning with a week long training program, you will gain comprehensive knowledge of the inner-workings of Bloomberg, while undergoing intensive markets and product training.
While in Global Customer Support, representatives will take all incoming calls from Bloomberg's global clients and viewers in 17 different languages.
By assisting our clients with all of their needs, Customer Support representatives will develop the foundation they need in the company, the markets, and the product before moving into a role in our Analytics department and eventually into Sales.
REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for smart, creative individuals with the initiative to take full advantage of the opportunities offered at Bloomberg.
We look for a variety of backgrounds, including but not limited to business, finance and economics.
Applicants must be confident speaking with new people and comfortable working in an upbeat and rapidly changing work environment.
Fluency in more than one language is definitely beneficial to a career at Bloomberg.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
