Receptionist

We are looking for an experienced, front desk professional to fill our full time Receptionist position.
Candidates should have recent front desk receptionist experience, strong phone skills, and be a motivated, detail-oriented multi-tasker.
As a HouseValues Receptionist you will be responsible for screening 6 incoming lines and 400+ internal lines, answering phone calls and greeting guests in a friendly and positive manner.
The hours are from 8am 5pm, but will need to arrive at 7:45am to ensure prompt readiness for our switchboard system.
This candidate will report directly to the Executive Assistant.
Responsibilities: Efficiently, professionally and effectively manage incoming phone calls.
Assist the Administrative and Executive Assistants with miscellaneous duties and daily tasks Maintain composure and professionalism during challenging situations Log all incoming packages and contact recipients Sort and file all incoming mail Sort and postage all outgoing mail Write professional responses (e-mails) to internal and external customers using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Assist with Commuter Trip Reduction Program Forward or answer voice mail messages Miscellaneous Duties as assigned and may include Data entry Order and maintain shipping supplies Tidy up lobby area, conference rooms, and kitchens Other miscellaneous duties as assigned Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent AND 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Requires a high level of office professionalism MUST be very reliable and dependable Requires technical/computer knowledge that must include: Word, Excel and PowerPoint E-mail and the Internet Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have patience and tact.
Must demonstrate and maintain a friendly and positive attitude.
Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
