Part Time - Shipping/Receiving/Mail - Mountain View

We offer on-site management of correspondence and high-volume production mail, reprographics, facsimile, records, desktop publishing, electronic documents, print-on-demand, as well as print and business recovery solutions.
PBMS is currently seekingPART TIME shipping/receiving/mailroom associates who are customer service oriented and career-minded.
Candidates must be able to work in a fast paced production environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: · Receive, count and verify all incoming parcels, freight, etc. · Break-down and sort-out palletized materials for delivery.
· Ensure all time guidelines are met for deliveries and notify client.
· Maintain required documentation for all goods received.
· Make internal deliveries as required and pickup outgoing packages skids, etc. · Prepare and package outgoing materials to prevent in-transit damage.
· Prepare all appropriate shipping documentation.
· Maintain excellent relationships with all drivers, carriers, etc. · Operate mechanical equipment as required, ie electronic pallet jack, forklifts, etc. · Participate in cross training andassist in various Mail Center activities (sorting mail, metering, folding, inserting, courier delivery etc.) · Receive and log all incoming items, letters and packages, including certified, registered, return receipt, Federal Express and DHL. · Lift large bundles of mail, overnight packages and shipments · Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages · Adhere to all Federal, State, Local and Company safety and security regulations and policies.

Qualifications The ideal candidates must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications: ·High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred ·Minimum of1 year customer service related experience ·Minimum of 1 year experience in a related functional area preferred (Shipping/Receiving, Distribution, Mailroom Operations) ·Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills (Word, Excel, Email) ·Excellent communication skills both verbal and written ·Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment ·Ability to meet employer's attendance policy ·Lifting up to40 pounds ·Standing for long periods of time ·Significant walking ·A valid drivers license with a clean driving record required for some positions ·Availability to work at least20 hours per week (Monday - Friday, Day shift)
